For the best results, we recommend using our 100% Natural Aged Cow Manure specially selected to provide essential nutrients for your roses without introducing weed seeds into your garden.
Always use well-aged manure that has been composted for at least a year, as fresh manure can burn plant roots and should be avoided.
We do not recommend applying manure directly around the roots. Instead, you can:
- Use aged manure at the bottom of the planting hole, covered with soil to prevent root burn.
- Apply it as a top dressing around the base of the bush, about 2 inches deep, once or twice a year.
Manure is one of the best natural fertilizers—giving your roses the nutrients they need to thrive!
